Our staff welcomes your children with warm and loving open arms. Our goal and vision are to provide a safe, happy place for children to stat their journey with Christ. As we continue to grow, we strive to improve and strengthen our care for your children. WE look forward to seeing those smiles in the nursery . . . where they are greeted with a smile and a hug.

Age Appropriate Rooms:
Sunday Morning Worship - infant/crawler and toddler
Children's Church and Sunday School - 3 - 5 year olds
Special Services/Bible Studies - infants to 2 year olds, and 3 - 5 year olds

Security:
We have a security desk where you sign in each child and receive a silent pager per family. This system allows us to locate a parent when needed. We also use the security animal clips as well. This system allows us to match tags with pagers and children with parents.
Ways to help our security:
1. always check in at the security desk first.
2. Give any special instructions to the staff attendant in the room and write it on the sign in form.
3. Label all items - diaper bags, bottles, cups, etc (diaper bag tags are available at the security desk).
4. Children with special food allergies or diet are encouraged to use allergy stamp on right hand, also available at the security desk.
5. A quick separation is best. You will be beeped if your child cannot be comforted.

Staff:
A person working with children in the nursery is required to submit an application. Each person is subject to the following screening: reference check, criminal background check, and a personal interview by the Nursery Director.
Our staff are certified in CPR, and are First Aid certified. We abide by the "two adult" rule in every room. All workers and volunteers must attend a training seminar and sign a statement that they will abide by Berkmar's Child Advocacy policies and procedures.
